October 6, 2026 | Istanbul, Türkiye
Six days in Istanbul came to an end on October 3, bringing the 9th MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 to a close.
For Bendmax, this exhibition was not simply about putting products on display. More importantly, it was an opportunity to sit down with customers face to face, listen to their actual bending requirements, and discuss possible tooling and clamping solutions directly at the exhibition booth.
At Booth 12A-69F, visitors could see a complete range of Bendmax press brake tooling and related products in one place. Instead of viewing individual products through a catalog or on a screen, customers could walk around the display, look closely at the tooling interfaces and structures, compare different configurations, and discuss their requirements with the Bendmax team.
This direct interaction made many of the conversations much more practical and specific.
One of the most useful aspects of the Bendmax display was that visitors could see a complete tooling and clamping range together on a single display rack.
The exhibition setup brought together upper punches, lower dies, different clamping systems and supporting accessories, creating a more complete picture of the tooling side of a press brake.
For customers who normally see only individual products in photographs or catalogs, seeing the actual tools side by side made it easier to understand the differences between various configurations.
Visitors could physically look at different:
Punch geometries
Die configurations
Mechanical clamps
Pneumatic clamps
Hydraulic clamping systems
Tool interfaces
Tooling accessories
This was especially useful when a customer already had a specific machine or existing tooling and wanted to know which configuration would be more suitable for their application.
Many of the discussions at the booth began with a simple question:
“What kind of press brake are you using?”
From there, the conversation could move into much more specific details.
Customers discussed their existing machines, tooling interfaces, workpiece requirements and current clamping methods. Some were interested in replacing existing tooling, while others were looking for faster clamping solutions or different tooling configurations for their production needs.
Having the physical products directly in front of us made these discussions much easier.
Instead of explaining the difference between two clamping systems only through drawings, our team could show the structures directly.
Instead of describing the difference between punch geometries from a catalog, visitors could compare the actual punches on the display rack.
This kind of face-to-face discussion is one of the reasons exhibitions remain valuable for technical products such as press brake tooling.
Clamping systems generated particularly active discussions during the exhibition.
Bendmax displayed hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical clamping solutions, including different configurations for commonly used tooling interfaces.
For customers considering a tooling upgrade, the discussion was not simply about choosing a clamp.
The more important questions were often:
With different clamp structures available on the display rack, customers could directly compare the options and explain their own situation.
This made it possible to move from “Which product do you sell?” to “Which solution makes sense for my machine?”
That difference is important to Bendmax.
Another advantage of the physical display was the ability to compare tooling configurations directly.
A customer looking for an upper punch, for example, could see different punch shapes together rather than evaluating them separately.
The same applied to lower dies and clamping systems.
For customers who were not yet certain about the exact tooling configuration they needed, the display provided a starting point for discussion.
Our team could first understand the application and then discuss possible options based on the customer's machine and production requirements.
This approach also helped customers who were considering tooling replacement, machine upgrades or new tooling purchases to better understand what information they should provide when requesting a quotation.
The response to the complete display also showed why Bendmax chose to bring a broad product range to MAKTEK Eurasia.
A single press brake often involves more than one tooling component.
The punch, die, clamping method and supporting accessories all work together within the bending process. For this reason, customers often need to discuss several related products at the same time.
By putting these products together in one physical display, Bendmax could present a more complete view of its capabilities.
Visitors could see the products first and then discuss their own requirements.
For us, this was more valuable than simply handing out a catalog.
Exhibitions also create an opportunity for conversations that are difficult to have through email alone.
A customer may arrive with only a general idea, such as:
“We are looking for a faster way to change our press brake tooling.”
After discussing the machine, existing tooling and production situation, the conversation can become much more specific.
Another visitor may already know the exact tooling interface but need a different punch or die configuration.
Others may be looking for a supplier capable of handling OEM requirements, regular tooling supply or customized tooling.
These different requirements cannot always be understood from a simple product inquiry.
Meeting customers directly allows our team to ask questions, look at the application from different angles and discuss possible solutions together.
That was one of the most valuable parts of MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 for Bendmax.
We would like to thank all the customers, partners, engineers, distributors and industry professionals who visited the Bendmax booth during MAKTEK Eurasia 2026.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by, examine the tooling, ask questions, share your applications and discuss your requirements with our team.
For customers who already work with press brake tooling, these conversations helped us better understand their day-to-day requirements.
For customers who were meeting Bendmax for the first time, we hope that seeing the complete product range in person provided a clearer understanding of what we can supply.
Most importantly, we appreciate the opportunity to communicate face to face.
The exhibition may have ended, but many of the conversations that started in Istanbul will continue after the show.
If you were planning to visit Bendmax at MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 but could not make the trip because of your schedule, travel arrangements or other commitments, there will be another opportunity to meet our team in person in Thailand.
Thailand will be the next stop on Bendmax's exhibition schedule.
We will bring our press brake tooling and related solutions to the next exhibition, providing another opportunity for customers to see our products directly, discuss their applications and explore possible cooperation with our team.
The detailed Thailand exhibition information will be announced separately.
If you missed us in Istanbul, we hope to see you in Thailand.
And if you have a press brake tooling requirement before then, you do not need to wait for the next exhibition.
You can contact the Bendmax team with your:
Press brake model + existing tooling information + material thickness + application requirements
and we can discuss a suitable solution with you directly.
See You at the Next Exhibition
From Istanbul to the next destination, Bendmax will continue meeting customers directly, listening to their requirements and developing practical solutions for press brake bending applications..
Thank you, Istanbul.
See you at the next exhibition METALEX 2026 in Thailand.
