STEP 01

Designing

Bendmax delivers precision-engineered press brake tooling through expert design and advanced 3D analysis.

STEP 02

Material

Bendmax selects premium forged 42CrMo4 steel for its press brake tooling—ensuring high strength, wear resistance, and reliable performance under demanding conditions.

STEP 03

Body hardening

Bendmax uses strictly forged 42CrMo4 steel for the first heat treatment, bringing the tool body to HRC 30–35 for enhanced strength and toughness.

STEP 04

Milling

Milling machines are used to shape the raw material (42CrMo or European brand 42CrMo4 steel) into the desired punch and die profiles for press brake tools.

STEP 05

Deep hardening

Bendmax applies induction hardening as a secondary deep treatment to the working area, achieving HRC 54–62 with a hardening depth of 3–5 mm.

STEP 06

Sandblasting

The surface is treated with sandblasting for anti-scratch protection and to relieve internal machining stress, with a maximum length limit of 950mm.

STEP 07

Grinding

Bendmax uses CNC grinding for finish machining, completing punch angles and radii, as well as die shoulders and grooves in a single operation—ensuring consistent quality across all stocked tooling.

STEP 08

Cutting

Normally we offer the standard length of Promecam (Euro) style press brake tooling: 835 mm solid, 415 mm solid and 835 mm sectioned. We are happy to provide custom cuts to special lengths.

Quality Control

We offer standard Promecam (Euro) style lengths (835mm solid, 415mm solid, and 835mm sectioned). Additionally, we provide custom cutting services to meet your specific length requirements.

STEP 10

Laser Marking

All Bendmax tools feature precise laser markings of key parameters—code, angle, radius, tonnage, and length—to ensure easy identification and accurate use.

STEP 11

Package

We apply anti-rust oil to the tool surface, wrap each one in greaseproof paper, and seal it individually in plastic. Standard tools are packed in individual cartons and reinforced with non-fumigation wooden crates for added protection during transportation.

STEP 12

Delivery

We have a lot of standard press brake tools in stock, and the delivery time is 3-5 days. If need customization , generally delivery time is 20-25 days. And we have a lot of export experience to help customers provide the best transportation method to save purchase costs.
