In a press brake, 42CrMo Piston Cylinder creates pressure through a pump and transmits this energy via hydraulic fluid to the cylinders. Each hydraulic cylinder acts as a powerful linear actuator that drives the vertical movement of the ram, ensuring the force is applied uniformly and with high precision during the bending process.

Most press brakes use a dual-cylinder system, with one hydraulic cylinder mounted on each side frame (side housing). This symmetrical configuration ensures even distribution of pressure, minimizes deflection, and contributes to consistent bend angles and improved part accuracy.
